This warm-up procedure stimulates the spinal and extremity joints to loosen up connective soft tissues as a daily conditioning or to prepare for physical activities like sports, gardening, moving furniture, yard work, etc. They also put you through a full range of motion stimulating joint receptors that send signals up the nervous system to enhance brain and overall body physiological functions for improved health and homeostasis.
