Is Your Child Expressing His Or Her Full Potential?

IS YOUR CHILD EXPRESSING HIS OR HER FULL POTENTIAL? Dr. Greg and Lyn Chappell An electric light glows at it's full potential when it gets maximum power from it's energy source. If you rotate the dimmer switch, the light becomes dimmer. You haven't changed the potential of the light, only the expression of the energy within it. A similar process exists within the human body. The primary job of the brain and nerves is to regulate and control body processes continually striving to maintain your vital functions at their optimal genetic potential. Interference to this energy, or lifeforce, can significantly impact how well your body's organs and glands work thus effecting your health, wellness and performance. For instance, interference to nerve regulation of the bronchial tubes can result in asthma; to the immune system: reoccurring colds, flu, ear infections; to the musculoskeletal system: decreased performance in sports and muscular imbalances that can cause scloliosis; to the glands and organs that keep the body's biochemistry in balance: alterations in focus, attentiveness, moods, behavior, thought processes, etc. The most common source of interference to nerve function is misalignments of the spine which houses the primary nerve channels. These are called subluxations and they put undue stress on the nerves effecting the transmission of their vital information. Unfortunately, subluxations can exist for many years causing such interference before symptoms show up. They can actually begin as early as childbirth and get more complicated thru the years with falls and bumps, accidents, bad posture, sports injuries, and improper backpack use. It's no wonder that most kids have spinal imbalance effecting their health and performance. If subluxations can exist without symptoms, then how do you know whether your child is subluxated or not? Focus on a true vitalistic, preventative aproach to health and don't wait until a condition develops with it's related symptoms. Get your child's spine checked by a subluxation-based chiropractor to detect these misalignments early and get them adjusted before they cause problems. How safe are adjustments? Statistics show that there is a greater chance of getting hit by lightning than having a complication from a chiropractic adjustment. Millions of people are getting themselves and their kids adjusted every day worldwide and studies show that the number of problems are so few that they are statistically insignificant. Putting this into perspective, recent hospital studies have shown that approximately 106,000 people die in the United States every year due to adverse reactions to medication. That's the equivalent of one jumbo jet liner crash every day with 290 people perishing. Medicine is now rated as the 3rd leading cause of death in our country behind heart disease and cancer. Is it any wonder why millions of informed families are seeking preventative health and wellness based care rather than the sickness and disease focused care of the traditional system. Dr. David Eisenberg of the Harvard Medical Center recently revealed that every year there are 200 million more visits to "alternative" health care practitioners than to medical doctors. And the vast majority of these visits were to chiropractors. That makes chiropractic America's first choice for true health care. There is also ample research that supports what chiropractors see daily in their offices. Gutman, M.D., a German researcher, concluded that approximately 80% of all children are not in autonomic balance. The autonomic nerves regulate such vital functions as breathing, heart rate, digestion, elimination, resistence to sickness and disease, etc. Chiropractic adjustments remove a major interference to this system increasing your child's healing capability and reducing or eliminating the need for medications with their potentially harmful side effects. Another study speaks of the increase in the genetic expression of the nerves toward full potential. It's no wonder that Dr. Lauro in a study with athletes found that performance improved almost 17% after just 12 weeks of chiropractic care. That's why so many olympic and pro athletes utilize chiropractic to enhance their performance. Dan O'Brien, hailed as the world's greatest athlete, states that, without chiropractic, he wouldn't have won the gold medal in the olympics. And, the women's soccer team got adjusted before they won the olympic gold medal. Give your child the gift of health: get them checked for subluxations by a chiropractor. If subluxations exist, get them adjusted, turning on the vital lifeforce thereby enhancing their optimal expression toward full potential in body, mind and emotions.
